TerraCalco® products improve soil performance and adjust soil pH to the optimum value. This improves cation exchange capacity and soil structure.
TerraCalco® increases the soil pH to neutral. This optimal pH helps to:
- Increase the amount of organic and natural fertilizers (the nutrition elements) available in the soil for all the plants, cereals, oil crops, vegetables, orchards, vineyards, etc., resulting in a better crop yield.
- Improve soil structure, water and air (porosity), water availability and management.
- Avoid toxic alumina and then participate in better crop development.
- Avoid the intake of heavy metals into plants.
- Achieve the perfect soil pH for crops - between 6.8 and 7.2.
- Grain size and optimal soil structure (with effects on water management, fuel reduction and preparation for non-invasive soil work systems).

How can I improve the soil pH?
Adding TerraCalco® will improve the soil pH. Depending on the improvement needed, the type of crop, machinery and soil analysis, our technical support will help you to choose the right product and the right dosage.
What is the difference between TerraCalco® 95 and TerraCalco® 55?
The first difference is in the neutralization value. TerraCalco® 95 has almost double the neutralization value compared to TerraCalco® 55. TerraCalco® 95 is granulated, faster acting and CO2 free.
How much TerraCalco® do we need to use per 100 ha?
The dosage depends on soil analyses. Depending on the hydrolytic acidity and pH value, the dosage ranges from 300 kg to 2000 kg/ha. At a dosage of 500 kg to 1000 kg the pH can be adjusted by 1 to 1.5 points.
How can we measure the effectiveness of TerraCalco® products?
First, you will see a clear improvement in the soil structure. This can be easily observed. Farmers who apply tell us that before application the soil was very hard and after application the soil is like a sponge. If you do soil analyses afterwards, you will see a clear improvement in the soil pH and hydrolytic acidity parameters. These improvements will certainly be reflected in an increase in yields, both in quality and quantity.
