Key Considerations

ViaCalco® is used for soil drying, soil modification and soil stabilization, depending on the specific requirements of the designer, geotechnical engineer or project manager. When treated, it can become part of a new construction. This avoids high landfilling costs and the purchase of new primary raw materials as aggregates.

Lime is well known for soil treatment in road construction and civil works, as it neutralizes the swelling effects of clay containing soils. It can also transform poor-rated soils into solid and long-lasting road embankment materials.

We offer a broad range of tailored lime-binders for siltier and sandier soils in earthworks. Known as ViaCalco®, these binders are adapted to several types of fine soils that contractors may face on their sites.

Your Benefits

Soil treatment is recognized as Best in Class for soil recycling, according to the EU Green Public Procurement solutions for road construction. Investors and designers may opt for in-situ soil treatment, once all stakeholders have fully understood all of its technical, cost-saving and environmental benefits.

ViaCalco® offers binder content optimization. ViaCalco® is thus the most economical and environmentally friendly solution for your earthworks, and when building roads, highways, railways, airports, industrial parks, and dykes etc.
