In an effort to support local restaurants during the COVID-19 pandemic, while also showing employee appreciation.

On April 16th, our Drummond Island operation donated safety glasses and gloves to local first responders and healthcare workers to protect them during the COVID-19 pandemic.

On April 20, our Drummond Island operation donated $1,000 to the Cedar Post Food Pantry in Cedarville, MI, and offered the same donation to the Drummond Island Food Bank.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, family meal packs were given to each Maple Grove employee to show appreciation and support a local business. 

Volunteers from Carmeuse’s River Rouge plant are preparing and donating food baskets to employees and local community members to ensure access to food during the COVID-19 pandemic. 

The Carmeuse Innovation Center in Pittsburgh donated 1,800 gloves and 50 surgical gowns to local first responders to equip them with protective gear during the COVID-19 pandemic.
