Carmeuse Group announces it has successfully acquired a controlling interest in Caleras San Juan (CSJ), a leading Argentinian lime producer known for its state-of-the-art production assets, high-quality reserves, and strong reputation in its markets.
With an installed annual production capacity exceeding 750,000 tonnes, CSJ and affiliates are well positioned to meet growing demand for lime across Argentina and central Chile. The acquisition is highly complementary to Carmeuse's existing operations in both countries, strengthening the company's ability to serve customers throughout the region.
