Carmeuse is pleased to announce that Carmeuse Majan, its majority owned entity in Oman, has acquired 100% of Al Namariq, a modern lime plant located next to its existing facilities in Salalah. This acquisition enhances Carmeuse Majan’s production platform and further strengthens its role as a key supplier to markets across the Middle East & Asia.
Carmeuse has been active in Oman since 2015, steadily scaling its operations to meet the growing needs of customers throughout a broad region spanning from India to Korea and further down to New Zealand. The integration of Al Namariq into Carmeuse Majan’s activities represents another important step in advancing our strategic roadmap for the region and reinforces Oman’s position as a competitive and reliable export hub. The Al Namariq plant will be fully integrated and operated by the current Carmeuse Majan team, ensuring continuity while accelerating opportunities for efficiency and innovation.
