“Clean” water is essential for life.
The products Carmeuse produces, lime and limestone, play a vital role in treatment of both drinking and waste water. They are used to soften water, neutralize pH, and remove organic impurities and heavy metals. Additionally, we ensure the water in our quarries are properly settled and contained, and where possible revalorized for drinking or wildlife purposes. Our strategy is to continue growing our offering of solutions to treat water through new product development, acquisitions and expanding operations in new regions, along with supporting the wildlife that utilizes the water sources on our properties.
