Founded in 1925 as Piquetberg & Bredasdorp Lime Works, PB Lime brings nearly a century of expertise and proven resilience. Today, the company serves more than 200 customers across South Africa. Notably, PB Lime—now operating as Carmeuse South Africa—owns one of the few white limestone deposits in a market largely dominated by brown lime.
We are delighted to welcome our South African colleagues to the Carmeuse family. This acquisition is more than a business decision; it is a cultural fit.
