Business ethics are important for a company’s sustainable growth. And it is important that they permeate through every level of the organization. They enable us to conduct our business in a way that is both ethical and responsible in a rapidly evolving context.

The company’s principles of ethical behavior are spelled out in the Carmeuse Code of Ethics. It explains the human rights and labor practices that the Group expects of all its employees, suppliers, and other partners. Employees commit to the Code of Ethics with regular training to keep it fresh.

EcoVadis is an internationally recognized provider of business sustainability ratings and a reference in the B2B industries and global supply chains. Each year, EcoVadis conducts recertification for several Carmeuse entities globally. In 2023, Brazil and Italy achieved certification for the first time.

It is also a great economic and reputational opportunity, which demonstrates to our customers, suppliers and employees our determination to contribute to a better world.

We address certain end user specifications and regulatory requirements through compliance with and certification to industry standards and requirements such as ISO 9001:2015 and NSF/ANSI 60.
