Maple Grove Provides Holiday Cheer

Maple Grove Provides Holiday Cheer

Just before the holidays in December, Carmeuse Maple Grove donated time and money for an after-school children’s program to spread holiday cheer.

Due to COVID-19, Carmeuse employees have been unable to visit the children from their foundation partner agency Great Lakes Community Action Partnership (GLCAP) which is based in Fremont, OH. The agency provides an after-school program at nearby McPherson Middle School in Clyde, OH, and Fremont Ross High School.

Carmeuse wanted to help students and staff celebrate before their holiday break; so they provided each student with a personal pizza, chips and soda. Carmeuse also gave each student an Amazon gift card so they could purchase something from their holiday wish list.

GLCAP Lead Site Supervisor Betty Kowalski said, “The students and staff enjoyed the pizza. We appreciate your generosity to our program.”
