Longview Stocking Tree Shares Christmas Spirit for BBBS Littles

This recent Christmas season, Longview held its annual Stocking Tree to sponsor gifts for Littles with its community partner Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of Shelby County.

Sybil Owens, Human Resources was moved to say, “This year we sponsored 36 Littles, and once again our team members outdid themselves.” 
Longview provided TV’s, bikes, iPads, Kindles and tablets as well as dolls, toy cars and trucks, many other types of toys and plenty of candy.

Brooke McKinley of BBBS, provided a clear picture of the overwhelming expression of gratitude by the families and their children, “There were tears, shock and amazement when parents picked-up the stockings.” Summed-up by Sybil Owens, “Thank you so much to everyone who participated. This is what the season is truly about.”
