Huron Donates Meals to First Responders, Supports Local Restaurant

Huron Donates Meals to First Responders, Supports Local Restaurant

On April 30, our Huron operation provided lunch for the Huron Police and Fire Department. The meals were purchased from Berardi’s Restaurant to support the local family-owned restaurant during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Berardi’s Restaurant initially closed after Michigan shut down non-essential businesses and recently reopened a carryout service. The Huron Police and Fire Department first responders have continued to serve during the pandemic.

“We wanted to support our local first responders and small businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Huron Site Coordinator Christine Mollison. “Berardi’s was very grateful for the support, and the Police and Fire Department shared their appreciation on the Huron Police Association Facebook page.”
