Your Skills for Success

If you are someone who loves to learn, use their hands, and work together with others on a team, then this apprenticeship program is for you. When people think of trade work, they may think of physically demanding and dangerous work. However, that perception is not always the reality. At Carmeuse, worker safety along with mental and physical well-being are of the utmost importance. These positions are highly skilled and in-demand. They evolve with the use of new technologies and offer the opportunity to contribute to something bigger than yourself.

Why Us?

Carmeuse is always on the lookout for employees who share in our company goals and are looking for a long-term career opportunity. We want to invest in your future and set you up for long-term success.

Competitive Pay
Our apprenticeship program starts at $20/hr with annual increases after each successful year and offers hands-on training and skill building that will grow with you throughout your career. While others are taking out loans to receive their education, you can start right now and get paid to do it! The apprenticeship program offers support, training, and financial security right out of school.

A Career Path
Success within an apprenticeship can lead to a long-term career path at Carmeuse. We invest in education, training, and mentorship because we know that if we treat our employees well, they will stay with us and use their skills to help our company grow.

Additional Support for Apprentices

As an apprentice, you will be enrolled in an on-line, self-paced education program to support your learning of a trade. Apprentices are encouraged to work on their education for four hours a week, on the clock. This should allow enough time to complete the 4-year program.

You will also be given all the tools needed to support your learning journey.

All of our apprentices work side-by-side with a mentor experienced in the trades. Additionally, you will receive support from our Corporate Technical Trainer.
