Longview Sponsors Stocking Trees for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Shelby County

To close out the 2023 year, Carmeuse Longview sponsored Christmas for 32 children who participate in the Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) in Shelby and Chilton Counties. 

The program is a school-based program. All of the Bigs are high school students, and the Littles range from kindergarten to 8th grade. 

BBBS was very appreciative of the support from everyone at Carmeuse. Along with the stockinged gifts were sewing machines, beads and jewelry making kits, science projects, a wide variety of toys and clothing, and of course a little candy for all of the kids.
