Carmeuse Dundas brings a bit of summer fun to local youth
Underprivileged young people in Dundas, Ontario, got to go on adventures and make amazing memories this summer thanks to the Routes Youth Center and Carmeuse.
With support from the company’s local Dundas Operation, the Routes team was able to offer 12 trips at low or no-cost to a total of 44 young people. Exciting destinations included the Royal Botanical Gardens, Adventure Village, the Warrior Factory, to name a few, and provided the chance to engage in a range of fun activities, like chocolate making and playing football with two Hamilton Tiger Cats players.
“We want to thank the whole Routes community for an incredible summer,” the center wrote in a Facebook post. “We had immense community support from families, donors, and organizations who supported our summer trips; and most of all, we were happy to see so many youth join us each day.”
