Calcitec® is used as the skeleton in a bituminous-filler mixture, and to create weight for the blend. Thanks to the presence of calcium ions, bitumen adheres well to this filling material. Calcitec® is compatible with neat and oxidized bitumen, as well as SBS-modified bitumen.
