The AquaCalco® range is dedicated to all wet processes in mining, ore processing and non-ferrous metallurgy. These include ore beneficiation by froth flotation, hydrometallurgical processes to extract metals or remove impurities from the process flow, and all supporting chemical processes. AquaCalco® products are also used to treat waste water from metal extraction and to neutralize acid mine drainage.

AquaCalco® Q quicklime and AquaCalco® S hydrate with customized properties are delivered for ore flotation and hydrometallurgical processes, as well as for industrial water treatment and acid mine drainage. High-reactive quicklime with low slaking residue is the best product for modern milk-of-lime slaking units. Fine hydrated lime with low content of abrasive substances is an alternative to quicklime slaking.
